26 Postures, 90 Minutes, 1000 calories ... 105 Degrees and 40% Humidity?!

It is official. Tonight, I signed up for the 30 day Bikram Yoga Challenge at Bikram Lower East Side (only the best yoga studio in NYC!) The 30 day challenge is, just that, completing one Bikram yoga class every day, for 30 days.

Simply put, Bikram is an exhilarating, endurance-driven, mind-altering workout experience. Which is why it aligns perfectly with my current life - I am in serious need of a little mind-altering. That said, I have spent the last year focusing on my running and haven't stepped foot into the studio once so I was pleasantly surprised that when I grudgingly forced myself back into the heat... I survived.

Now ... 30 days in a row, that will be a little harder.
